Located in the city centre of Melbourne, Clarion Suites Gateway is an all-suites four-star hotel under the international Clarion brand of Choice Hotels Asia–Pac, with over 270 hotels nationally.

We are currently seeking a passionate Receptionist / Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team on a full-time basis, with great opportunities for progression to build a career in the Hotel industry.

Main Responsibility:

To ensure guest service is of the highest standards, always displaying a professional, competent attitude and commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

About the Role:

Greet and welcome all guests.

Guest registration to include check-in/out.

Cashiering to include foreign exchange and balancing daily transactions.

Handle guest queries.

Liaise closely with all departments in the hotel, particularly housekeeping and maintenance

Dealing with reservation enquiries and group tours

About You:

Previous front office experience in a hotel environment would be looked at favourably, although not a necessity.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Friendly, personable, and outgoing personality, and enjoys engaging with guests

Committed to providing superior customer service.

Ability to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays.

The Offer:

Award rates and hourly penalty rates are subject to weekends and Public Holidays.

In addition to the wages, the Superannuation Rate Guarantee is currently at 12%
