About the role

As the Logistics and Parts Manager at AME Group Enterprises Pty Ltd and Agri Automation Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's logistical operations and parts inventory. This full-time position is based in Monarto South, SA 5254, and will see you oversee the entire supply chain process, from sales pipeline to distribution.

What you'll be doing

Service customers directly regarding interpretation & sale of parts, warranty claims and service requests.

Manage and coordinate all logistic activities in the value chains, both internally and externally, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.

Develop and implement procurement and transport strategies to optimise inventory levels, minimise costs, and ensure the timely availability of parts.

Manage the cross functional process of ensuring that sales orders are delivered as promised.

Proactively identify and address logistical challenges and bottlenecks.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of parts and inventory.

Continuously monitor and analyse logistic performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Through weekly and monthly reporting create transparency across functions to optimise operational execution.

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) in a similar logistic or parts management role, preferably with background in viticulture or agriculture industry (but not a must).

Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, inventory control systems, and warehousing best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement practical solutions.

Proficient in the use of logistic and inventory management software, with the ability to analyse and interpret data.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborative team player with positive attitude who gets things done.

Ambitious, service minded, process driven and proponent for continuous improvement.
