About Melbourne Teaching Health Clinics
Melbourne Teaching Health Clinics (MTHC) is a non-for-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Melbourne and provides world class clinical training opportunities for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences students. It also provides patient access to high quality health care for members of the Victorian community, within a private practice setting. There are six clinical areas that are central to this service, and they include general medical practice, dentistry, optometry, audiology, speech pathology and psychology.

About Shepparton Medical Centre
The Shepparton Medical (SMC) centre is a GP Clinic and multidisciplinary practice providing quality health care to the general public in Shepparton and surrounds. It has been facilitating the wellbeing of patients and students through quality patient-centred care and outstanding clinical education and delivers approximately 40,000 services to patients each year. It supports the community in a number of ways including participating in Priority Primary Care Centres as well as providing allied health care and a range of specialist services.

About the Role
Are you a visionary leader passionate about healthcare excellence, innovation, and compassionate service? SMC, a pioneering multidisciplinary teaching clinic, is seeking an Operations Manager who embodies progressive thinking, inspires teams, and drives positive change in rural healthcare.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering closely with the Medical Director, you will lead the operational and strategic direction of SMC and the Urgent Care Centre (UCC), ensuring excellence in service delivery, workforce development, and clinical education. You will champion integrated care models, foster leadership, and expand innovative services to meet evolving community needs.
