D&B Transport Works are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing and applying coatings to a wide variety of industrial equipment, with work ranging from precise, detailed refinishing to broader, cosmetic improvements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in surface preparation, paint application, and finish work, with the ability to adapt techniques based on the specific requirements of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming

Apply paint using appropriate methods (spray, brush, or roller) to achieve desired finish

Mix and match paints to meet project specifications

Perform both high-detail finish work and general touch-up painting as required

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Conduct quality control checks to ensure standards are met

Qualifications:

Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting

Knowledge of various paint types, finishes, and application methods

Ability to interpret instructions and adjust approach based on project scope

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Physical ability to lift, move, and access large equipment during preparation and painting

Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
