Kitchen Support Officer -

Cobham Youth Justice Centre,

Youth Justice

• Ongoing, Full time
• Location: St Marys
• Level 1 Salary ($59,232 - $61,769 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

This is a targeted recruitment.

Your role

Undertake a range of general kitchen duties, including preparation and serving of meals and assisting with maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen and storage facilities to support the delivery of a high-quality catering service.

What you'll do

• Provide support to catering staff and assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in the kitchen
• Clean and clear away in the kitchen facilities.
• Comply with work health and safety guidelines and procedures, and report any maintenance or safety issues, to ensure the health and safety of clients and other staff members.

What we're looking for

• Ability to complete task in a timely manner and maintain high standards.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to handle changing schedules, meal demands and special dietary requirements.
• Maintain calm and professional when dealing with challenging clients.
• Ability and willingness to work with offenders.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance

• National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
