About us:
CQ Specialist Mental Health, Substance and Alcohol Care serves residents across Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Biloela, Moura, Woorabinda, and Central Highlands, supporting over 250,000 people. Based in Rockhampton—the regional hub—our services include acute inpatient care, 24/7 mental health support, and professional oversight of the Mental Health Act 2016. With dedicated inpatient units at Rockhampton Hospital and community teams in the CBD, we collaborate closely with southeast Queensland's specialist services to deliver comprehensive mental health and substance support across Central Queensland.
About the role:
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary Mental Health Team (Acute Care Services) within an integrated service and to provide advanced clinical leadership and expertise in strategic, operational and human resource management utilising a well-developed level of clinical knowledge, problem solving skills and experience of complex contemporary clinical practice standards to ensure optimal clinical outcomes for consumers.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
- Registered Nurse
While not mandatory, possession of relevant clinical post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in relevant profession or Mental Health or Alcohol and Other Drugs would be well regarded for this position.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $176,615 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $66.85 - $76.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
