With growing demand and ongoing projects across the country, we are looking for a reliable and skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our dedicated team at Screw Flights Australia Pty Ltd. The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties, which include but are not:

Key Responsibilities

· Interpret technical drawings and job specifications

· Select and prepare sheet metal materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.

· Measure, mark, cut, and shape components using CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, and brake presses.

· Assemble parts using welding, soldering, or riveting with precision.

· Operate and maintain CNC and press machines to ensure smooth production.

· Use CAD layouts to assist with accurate fabrication.

· Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

· Keep a clean and safe workspace, following all safety guidelines.

What You’ll Bring

Must have minimum two years work experience in Australia in similar role and preferably within same industry background.

Relevant Trade qualification in Light Fabrication or equivalent certificate required.

Hands-on experience with CNC laser cutters and brake press machines.

Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.

CAD skills for layout preparation (highly essential).

Reliable team players with the ability to work independently when needed.
