Your role at St John of God Social Outreach
We are seeking applications for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Raphael Services team on a permanent part-time basis. Our services are community-based and serve to support the perinatal mental health and attachment needs of parents and their children.
We hold a multidisciplinary clinical team comprising Psychology; Mental Health Social Work; Mental Health Occupational Therapy; Nursing; and Psychiatry, supported by our admin team.
This position will support a caseload of around 20 to 25 individual clients with some group work and will be primarily based in Wembley with opportunity to work from our satellite offices in Cockburn, Mandurah, Midland or Wanneroo.
Part-time shifts will operate over 3 full days per week and must include a Tuesday.
The Position
- Provides advanced level Psychology services including a range of individualised and group clinical care reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
- Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring client/patient progress adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management.
- Ensures effective multidisciplinary teamwork through professional communication and comprehensive liaison with colleagues, clients and their supports, referring doctors, and other service providers.
- Complies with legal and ethical responsibilities to clients, visitors and staff, inclusive of maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintains appropriate clinical records reflecting adherence to service policies, ACHS and legal requirements.
- Demonstrates reflective practice and commitment to professional development.
- Contributes to the design and implementation of programs relevant to the needs of clients and current clinical practice.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in evidence-based group and individual therapies, have experience in working in the perinatal mental health space, and must be eligible for a Medicare provider number.
Successful applicants will hold a Tertiary qualification in Psychology, full AHPRA registration and Psychology Board of Australia area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology to claim Medicare rebates as a Clinical Psychologist.

We can offer you
- Salary: $126,487 to $146,218 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% Superannuation
- Permanent part-time, working 22.5 hours per week
