Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Associate Professor to join School of Education, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.
We invite an outstanding Associate Professor with a international track record of advancing education research to inspire, mentor and lead world-class applied educational research and teaching with the School of Education at QUT. The successful applicant will demonstrate a well-developed philosophy for their teaching and learning, be actively engaged with the latest technological and methodological developments in their area of research, and show a commitment to contributing to a dynamic, high-performance and collaborative academic culture.

What you need to succeed
1. Doctoral qualification in educational research with an outstanding international research track record in educational leadership.
2. Record of excellence and leadership in teaching and learning including scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning and supervision of postgraduate students.
3. Demonstrated ability to produce and maintain a high level of nationally and internationally recognised educational research outcomes, including academic publications and translation into practice.
4. A track record in securing external income, preferably from both industry and government partners.
5. Demonstrated track record of identifying, establishing and maintaining research or industry collaborations and partnerships that span diverse disciplinary teams and stakeholder groups.
6. Demonstrated ability to contribute to a dynamic, high-performing and collaborative academic culture.
7. A willingness to undertake a Faculty Research Ethics role is highly desirable.
8. Eligibility for teacher registration in Queensland is highly desirable.
