About the role

Preferred Care' is seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our team in Loganlea, Queensland. This is a casual position that will see you providing high-quality nursing care across our medical/surgical, emergency, and mental health wards. Your role will be vital in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes in condition to the medical team
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records
• Adhering to all relevant hospital policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines
• Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development

What we're looking for

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
• Demonstrated experience in a similar medical/surgical, emergency, or mental health nursing role
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
