About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Operating Suites (Scrub/Scout Portfolio) team as a Nurse Educator where you will be responsible for:
- Plan, coordinate and evaluate professional development programs and educational resources tailored to perioperative nursing.
- Provide expertise in adult learning and educational frameworks and empower clinicians to deliver local teaching.
- Ensure alignment between education and policy, and contribute to a positive, safety-focused team culture.
- Lead and contribute to projects, programs, or research aimed at improving clinical education and service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current (or eligible) practising certificate.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality presentations in various educational settings, to both professional and community audiences.
- Ability to develop, coordinate and deliver education programs and conduct appropriate evaluations of the programs.
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in peri-operative – instrument and circulating nursing.
