Senior Project Engineer – Civil Infrastructure | Newcastle, NSW

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the delivery of major work packages from planning through to completion.
• Overseeing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure time, cost, and quality objectives are met.
• Driving project programming, cost tracking, and reporting alongside Project Managers.
• Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Reviewing design, managing ITPs, and maintaining project documentation to the highest standard.
• Liaising with key stakeholders including clients, consultants, and internal leadership.
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative project environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 6–10+ years’ experience in civil construction, ideally on major infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in coordinating across disciplines (roads, structures, utilities, etc.).
• Strong leadership skills and commercial acumen.
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies and QA/QC processes.
• Experience with TfNSW and government infrastructure specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility for regional travel if required.
