ABOUT THE ROLE

As Strategic Program Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary projects across Defence and Wodonga TAFE, supporting the Head of Innovation in driving transformational change. You’ll play a key role in building project management capability, managing resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives that enhance our reputation for delivering innovation and emerging capabilities and technologies into training. This role is central to advancing our Defence partnership and the development of the Logical Innovation Precinct, supporting our strategic goal of delivering scalable, distributed, and innovative training services.

Selected Duties:

Lead and manage a range complex projects for Defence, TTS and Wodonga TAFE

Develop and implement project management systems and capability.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Coordinate and support preparing high-quality submissions for new opportunities such as tenders and grants.

Lead a team in delivering on strategic and innovative projects.

ABOUT YOU

Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in project management.

Extensive experience in managing large and complex projects.

Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.

Desirable: Experience in successful management and implementation of non-material service projects in tertiary education and training.
