About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, trade-focused business in a pivotal customer support role. As the face of the local branch, you’ll assist clients with product enquiries, coordinate service and installation jobs, and ensure every customer receives timely and accurate support. You’ll work closely with installers, sales reps, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and outstanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries from builders, installers, and homeowners.
- Provide product information and support for garage doors, windows, shutters, and accessories.
- Enter and manage orders, quotes, and job requests using the internal ERP system.
- Coordinate installation schedules and technician availability.
- Communicate timelines, updates, and delivery details to customers and installers.
- Assist with invoice generation, warranty documents, and job completion paperwork.
- Monitor stock availability and assist with ordering where required.
- Follow up on customer concerns and provide resolution in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records and job files for compliance and reporting.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles within the trade, building, or manufacturing sectors would be preferred (but not essential)
- Willingness to be based in the office Mon-Fri based in Adelaide's Inner Northern Suburbs
- Familiarity with ERP or job scheduling software (Sage preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional phone manner.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational ability.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of construction or building materials preferred.
