iGear Pty Ltd is a successful, fast growing business and leading importer, wholesaler and distributor of smart phone accessories based in Brisbane however this is a Western Victoria, including Melbourne CBD and North East Regional Victoria, role.

With an experienced overseas buying team and manufacturing partners, we have forged successful partnerships that give us a leading edge and the ability to supply our customers with the best available accessories at competitive prices.

The Role

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager you'll be the single point of accountability.

You’ll be part of a remote team working autonomously and independently, servicing Western Victoria including Melbourne CBD and North East Regional Victoria therefore residing west of Melbourne or close to the CBD is beneficial.

You'll meet with current customers and grow your customer base through new business acquisition, carving your own path while being supported and rewarded for your efforts. Travelling to regional areas on a regular or semi-regular basis with overnight stays.

Responsibilities include:

Actively increasing and managing the iGear footprint in Melbourne CBD, the Inner City Suburbs and regional areas through building and maintaining current relationships and fostering new relationships.

Planning and making regular contact with customers in person to take orders, organise merchandise and understand customer needs.

20% of your time will be allocated to prospecting and bringing in new customers.

Developing and maintaining a strategy for cross selling, upselling and identifying target accounts to achieve sales and margin growth, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Developing a thorough knowledge of all product offerings to forecast and track customer account sales, in a daily sales planner, to provide you and the company with quality data.

About you

You’re a self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a supportive remote team environment.

You enjoy travelling and have the enthusiasm and energy to visit customers on a daily basis.

You want to be rewarded for your passion to service the needs of our customers and acquire new customers with uncapped commission and bonuses for reaching your monthly targets.

You’re resilient and want to create your ultimate, long-term career within a business where you have uncapped earning potential.

You live west of Melbourne or close to the CBD and have a willingness to travel and stay overnight on a few occasions per month on regional travels.

Package and benefits:

Package circa $100-$120K includes base salary + car allowance or company car + tools of trade (mobile, laptop, tablet) + commission + bonuses.

Permanent full-time opportunity with occasional trade show attendance.

Thorough and ongoing training in all aspects of the role and coaching, we want you to increase your skill set and grow.

Manage a portfolio of your own customers and grow your customer base within a growing company.

To be considered for this role you must have full working rights in Australia and a clean, unrestricted drivers licence .
