Demolition Operative Leading Hand

We’re not looking for a run-of-the-mill demo labourer. We need a switched-on, capable Leading Hand who knows how to get the best out of a team and keep a site moving without needing to be told twice.

We are a WA-based business that tackles the tricky stuff — complex commercial jobs, asbestos removal, and structural demolition in live environments. We’ve built a reputation by doing things right, backing our teams, and never cutting corners.

This is a hands-on role, working closely with our Class 1 Supervisor. You’ll still be on the tools, but you’ll be the steady hand on site — keeping the team sharp, the site tidy, and the work rolling.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running strip-outs, dismantling and plant-based demolition works
• Leading small task-based teams and giving clear direction
• Spotting hazards, delays or issues early and acting on them
• Mentoring less experienced team members
• Keeping the site safe, clean, and set up right
• Supporting the Supervisor in delivering top-quality outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years demolition experience
• White Card (mandatory)
• Physically fit, reliable and confident with tools, machinery and SWMS
• Good communicator who takes pride in their work
• Forklift, EWP or asbestos removal tickets are a bonus
• Leadership experience or mentoring background a strong advantage
