Our client is seeking a Test Lead with experience in ADP. They are seeking an experienced Test Lead with a strong background in ADP payroll systems to lead end-to-end testing activities for payroll implementation or transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test strategies, coordinating testing efforts, ensuring quality deliverables, and working closely with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, IT, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

Lead the testing workstream for ADP payroll implementations, upgrades, or integrations.

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.

Coordinate and manage the execution of all phases of testing (System, SIT, UAT, Parallel Runs).

Work closely with Payroll SMEs, HRIS teams, and external vendors to ensure testing requirements are accurately captured.

Ensure test data readiness and validate payroll outputs including gross-to-net calculations, tax filings, and GL postings.

Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.

Facilitate defect triage meetings and provide regular test execution status updates.

Provide leadership and guidance to junior testers and coordinate UAT testers across business units.

Participate in go-live readiness assessments and post-implementation support activities.

Ensure testing activities comply with organizational standards, security policies, and audit requirements.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in QA/Test Lead roles, with at least 2 years of hands-on ADP Payroll experience (might consider SuccessFactors) - A MUST.

Demonstrated experience in test planning, execution, and defect management in payroll projects.

Strong understanding of payroll integrations/implementations (e.g., with SAP, Oracle HCM, Workday).

Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
