“Scaffold Supervisor and Compliance Officer" (LOCAL WORK- NO FIFO)”

Oldfields Scaffolding WA are currently seeking a supervisor to oversee current and upcoming projects in the Perth Metro Area.

The Role

Oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.

Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Ensure all staff are working to Australian Standards and compliance regulations

Lead and mentor multiple teams of scaffolders, providing guidance and support

Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries

Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting

Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious and safe working environment

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

A minimum of 10 years in the industry

A minimum of 5 years working in Tier 2 commercial projects

A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

The ability to utilise software relating to compliance and scheduling

Experience working on large-scale construction projects in a similar role.

The ability to attend subcontractor meetings and confidently speak on compliance and progress requirements

The ability to read and understand detailed plans and liaise with Engineers

The ability to identify variations to contracts and follow procedures

Strong understanding of scaffolding structures, materials, industry regulations, risk assessments and safety protocols

The ability to oversee toolbox meetings

Managing and driving completions and work crews.

Well-honed project planning and scheduling skills.

Strong leadership qualities

Willingness to jump on the tools to push projects forward when required
