The Opportunity:
H.P Heavy Industry Pty Ltd are seeking experienced Rigger/Scaffolders and Advanced Scaffolders for various rolling shutdowns on several sites with tier 1 clients.

2/1 Roster, 7 days and 7 nights on-duty immediately followed by 7 days off-duty.

Key Responsibilities:

Recognising and reporting all hazards, incidents and near misses to Supervisors and or HSE Advisor and all other applicable and notifiable employees.

Erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures to support maintenance, construction, and repair activities.

Interpret plans, drawings and written instructions and comply with project specifications to complete works.

Meet both quality and productivity targets in erecting and dismantling scaffolding.

Provide direction to team members as required.

Comply with company and site PPE requirements at all times.

Creation and compliance with JHA's/SWMS, etc.

Maintain professional code of conduct at all times with all dealings with clients and other contractors.

Participate in and contribute to daily pre-starts, weekly tool box meetings and other health and safety initiatives and training.

Job requirements:

1.Essential:

Valid tickets: High Risk Work, Height Safety (Within 2 years), Confined Space (Within 2 years), White Card.

Valid Full Australian Driver’s Licence.

Previous Scaffolding & Rigging work experience. Advanced Scaffolder needs minimum 2 years mining experience.

Ability to interpret scaffolding plans and drawing accurately.

Well-developed verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to safely manage a variety of tasks and achieve effective and timely outcomes.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Actively seek out ideas for continuous improvement.

Pass pre-employment checks: satisfactory National Police Check, medical and DAS, and full working rights.

2.Desirable:

HRWL – Scaffolding (SA/SI), Rigging (RA/RI), Forklift (LF) and Elevated Work Platform (WP).

As for Advance Scaffolder, have an ability to pass a Verification of Competency for Scaffolding Advanced and Ringlock.
