Your Role:

  • Deliver assessments and therapy for children with a range of developmental needs, including ASD, dyspraxia, and intellectual disability.
  • Work in both clinic and community settings, offering services in one-on-one or small group formats.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists, Music Therapists, and Educators.
  • Utilise telehealth and face-to-face sessions to provide flexible care tailored to client needs.
  • Create personalised, goal-driven therapy plans that support children and families through all stages of development.
  • Maintain clinical records and reporting, with time set aside in your schedule for admin and planning.
  • Participate in regular supervision, mentoring, and case discussions to support professional development.
  • Engage in weekly team wellbeing activities that help foster a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Use provided resources and tech tools such as laptops, iPads, and shared therapy materials to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to a dynamic, client-focused clinic culture where creativity, collaboration, and compassion are core values.

More about you!

  • Relevant professional qualifications and registration (AHPRA)
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental needs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients, families, and the team.
  • Empathy and patience to build rapport with children and families facing complex challenges.
  • Creative and flexible thinking to adapt therapy approaches to individual client needs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, balancing clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Team player mentality, willing to collaborate and contribute to a supportive work environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards professional development and continuous learning.
  • Current working with children checks, police clearance, and other required certifications such as first aid and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Access to own transport and a valid driver’s license, enabling work across clinic and community settings.
