Direct Focus Solutions (DFS) is a multidisciplinary practice providing allied health, disability and community supports, and an extensive range of clinical therapies. We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our clinical team as an Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will deliver in-person Occupational Therapy services to clients through our clinic located in Kingsford, Sydney. You will also deliver Occupational Therapy services outside of the clinic as required, such as at client’s residences or local community areas. These clients would be located primarily within the East Sydney area.

About this Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at DFS, you will have the opportunity to join a passionate and diverse multidisciplinary team within an NDIS registered provider that strives to deliver positive outcomes through a strengths-based approach. Your colleagues will include practitioners from diverse fields such as psychology, social work, behaviour support, and speech pathology. Successful applicants will be fully supported by our multidisciplinary team to receive any required training, supervision, and mentoring that may be needed to enhance the applicant’s professional development and allow them to excel in their areas of interest and expertise.

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to support private clients and NDIS participants from a wide variety of backgrounds, ages, cultures, communities, and abilities to enable meaningful changes to their lives. You will be able to work with individuals across a diverse range of settings within the East Sydney area, including at our Kingsford clinic, homes, schools, and other local community spaces.

Requirements:

Relevant certification in Occupational Therapy

Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration

Ability to travel to clients to facilitate in-person service delivery

Ability to tailor therapies based on the individual needs of clients

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Professional communication and report writing skills

Have a passion for supporting clients from all cultures and backgrounds

Applicants must also possess, or be willing to obtain the following, prior to employment:

Driver’s License and own vehicle

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

NDIS Worker’s Check (NDISWC)

Police Check
