About the Role:
This role is based within the Assertive Community Outreach Team (ACOS), part of Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS), which delivers support to youth and adults across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, including people's homes. Operating under a recovery-focused and harm minimisation approach, ACOS provides intensive outreach treatment to individuals with severe and enduring mental illness-primarily psychotic disorders or severe bipolar disorder-who have complex needs, high risk factors, and limited engagement with traditional services. The team delivers flexible, community-based care across extended hours, from 8:30am to 9:00pm, seven days a week. This is a shift-based role that requires participation in a rotating roster. You'll be responsible for clinical management, team supervision, and collaborative engagement with families, carers, and service partners, working both from the City Community Health Centre and across outreach locations throughout the ACT.
