About the Role
This role is responsible for the administration and stakeholder management of several major waste disposal contracts including resource recovery centres, waste hoppers, and landfill operations. It includes managing gatehouse staff, overseeing contract performance and reporting, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Reporting to the Team Leader - Circular Economy and Waste, the core responsibilities include:

  • Administer and monitor major waste disposal contracts for compliance and performance.
  • Coordinate and support gatehouse staff across resource recovery sites.
  • Lead audit processes and ensure service providers meet compliance and safety standards.
  • Deliver continuous improvements in waste management services and reporting.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and projects related to waste operations.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (engineering, contract or business management).
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and support staff in operational environments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in financial oversight and audit processes within waste or related services.
