The Role: What You'll Do
As a Mentor, you'll be a vital part of a young man's journey to independence. Your main goal is to build trust and rapport through shared interests, then use our GROW model to guide them in developing new skills. This includes:
Building employment skills, from creating a resume to practicing interviews.
Increasing daily living independence, such as managing a budget or using public transport.
Developing foundational social skills and confidence.
Leading and participating in fun group activities, like sports, gaming, or social outings.
Demonstrating initiative by planning and following routines and exhibiting strong leadership skills.

Essential Requirements
A reliable, roadworthy vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check.
Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
Experience in writing case notes.
Access to a smartphone for administrative tasks.
Willingness to complete our induction program and all required NDIS online modules.
Ideally, one year of experience in a support role or similar, with demonstrated transferable skills.
