About the role

Reporting to the CIO, you will deliver IT Projects (applications/business systems/digitisation) relating to transformation and capability uplift. You will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of numerous and simultaneous IT systems related projects - systems upgrades, overhauls, integrations, modernisation and digitisation; that enable the growth and transformation of the organisation. This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract likely to extend or convert to permanent.

What you'll be doing

Provide key hands-on IT project leadership with responsibility for effective oversight and end-to-end delivery of small to medium size projects (approx $3m p.a)

Adapt relevant methodology for best fit - Agile, waterfall, and variants thereof, and provide expert advice and coaching to key stakeholders on contemporary principles and methodologies

Provide a consolidated view of all assigned projects using contemporary presentational artefacts

Coordinate and facilitate resources (BA's, Developers, Architects, SME's)

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Contribute to continual improvement within the project delivery landscape

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as an IT Project Manager, particularly with Business Systems and/or Digital transformation initiatives.

Commercial sector experience will be well-regarded

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall

An ability to provide direction through change arising from projects

Demonstrable leadership qualities including exceptional communication and stakeholder skills, unlimited passion and an ability to influence outcomes

Fluency in the use of Jira (Agile) sprint boards.

Project management certifications along with Agile certification.
