Between $29.50 - $31.50 per hour dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - 8.30am – 4.30pm (30 minute break)

We are looking for the right person to work in our production and dispatch departments. This is a multi-faceted role where you will have the opportunity to work across both departments

About the role

Emphasis on customer service driven performance, this role requires the successful applicant to care about the presentation and quality of the products we produce.

The speed and accuracy in which products are produced, and orders are carefully packed and shipped must be at the highest of standards.

The successful applicant must be a team player, able and willing to work with excellent communications, or autonomously with care given to each project or task.

Be physically fit, healthy and able to lift, move and pack standard boxes in our production and dispatch department - heavy lifting is involved.

Able to take directions, follow instructions and procedures that exist.

Build, label, prepare, pack and send products in accordance with requirements and with high levels of accuracy to customers.

Meet order weight compliance requirements for freight companies.

Complete paperwork and document recording with high accuracy.

Accomplish organisation goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the role and to the business.

Cares for the dispatch department and products within; maintains, cleans and prepares all working areas and surfaces with excellent levels of hygiene and cleanliness

Follow company policy and procedures in line with GMP compliance for ISO 22716:2017 standards

Skills and experience

Verbal communication skills including telephone and written abilities must be professional, polite and accurate.

Demonstrated experience with MS Word, MS Excel, Email, Google Applications and related programs.

Demonstrated experience with high efficiency and accuracy of packing, preparing orders.

Experience with stock control and stock-take audits.

Able to do repetitive tasks without losing momentum or accuracy.

Excellent and effective communication skills – both written and oral, including the ability to effectively communicate requests and instructions to individuals and groups and ability to take direction from management. Ability to work well in an established close team.

Daily commitment to, and enthusiasm for, client service and delivery.

Possess flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work and complete tasks methodically, accurately and neatly.

Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team and the organisation or autonomously while remaining self-motivated and foresee tasks that need completion without guidance.

High energy levels and ability to multitask with no issues with moving and packing stock and shipments.

Dependability and a desire to work towards the common goal of a successful department.

Attention to detail is paramount in this role and referees are required.
