About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Hire Republic as a Warehouse Assistant / Delivery Driver. In this full-time role, you will be based in our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Murarrie, Queensland. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with the efficient running of our warehouse operations and making local deliveries to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, unpacking and putting away incoming stock deliveries

Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse

Carrying out regular inventory counts and stock checks

Making local deliveries to customers using our company vehicles

Providing excellent customer service to our clients

Assisting the warehouse team with other ad-hoc duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

A strong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes

A valid driver's licence and the ability to safely operate light commercial vehicles

Physical fitness and the capability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
