The Role
This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the processes for Information Technology (IT) security in the Army Information and Communications Technology Security Plan, for the Enterprise, commercial, and combat IT systems at the Royal Military College - Duntroon. They are also the Training Establishment’s point of contact for IT purchasing, management and budgeting; assist in the Introduction Into Service, planning, and delivery of communications projects and infrastructure; point of contact for IT repair and replacement tasks; and liaise with other Training Establishments, headquarters, and other key stakeholders on IT matters. They do this under the guidance of the Formation IT Security Manager, and Communications Office at Headquarters Land Combat College, located in Canberra. The position plays a vital role in the success of the Land Combat College in supporting its people, the Commander and Army capability.

You will be required to work both collaboratively as part of a cross functional team at the Royal Military College - Duntroon, and independently from your supervisor and other Training Establishment IT Security Officers. You should be adaptable, flexible and comfortable during change. You must possess a high degree of digital literacy, and have previous experience in managing the delivery of Information Technology with and through enterprise Information Technology stakeholders.
You must have knowledge and experience and/or the ability to quickly learn about both civilian and military Information Technology and Operational Technology. This role also requires: strong analytical and administrative competencies to meet the unique demands of the position; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a keen attention to detail; and an ability to establish, foster and maintain collaborative relationships across the Land Combat College, the Defence enterprise and external stakeholders.
