Conduct market, customer, and competitive intelligence to support evidence-based strategic development.

Use structured frameworks (e.g., Balanced Scorecard, OKRs) to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, gaps, misalignments, and prioritise actions.

2) Strategy Development & Advisory

Partner with the Managing Director and Strategic Planning team to translate the 10-year vision into actionable 3-year and 1-year roadmaps.

Prepare strategic presentations, forecasting models and leadership papers for senior executives, the Retail Board and the Family Office.

Develop and maintain enterprise-wide strategy documentation, integrating business unit scorecards and cascading objectives.

3) Project Portfolio & Execution Oversight

Drive the implementation of strategic projects under the "Run-Change-Grow" framework; ensure governance, resourcing and risk management.

Coordinate OKR development and reporting across business functions; facilitate course correction through data-driven reviews.

Track key outcomes for transformation initiatives, offering high-trust guidance to project owners and cross-functional sponsors.

4) Business Process & Operating Rhythm

Oversee the integrated business calendar including SLT meetings, offsites, OKR reviews and cross-departmental planning sessions.

Facilitate performance management rhythms and ensure clarity, follow-through and feedback loops for strategic priorities.

Support the maturing of business processes from ad-hoc to systemised and repeatable operations across functions.

5) Cross-Functional Strategic Projects

Lead cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, IT and HR with an emphasis on operating model redesign, culture transformation and international expansion.

Collaborate with leadership on development of internal narratives, change management plans and communications that cascade strategic priorities across the business.
