Salary - VPS 4: $97,955 to $111,142 + 12% superannuation

About the role:
Looking to grow your career in strategic planning and resilience? Reporting to the Senior Planning and Resilience Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating business planning and organisational resilience planning. You will also support the maintenance and coordination of EPA's organisational resilience planning and capability, including crisis management.
We are looking for someone eager to grow—bringing energy, curiosity and a strategic mindset to help shape how EPA plans and responds to future challenges.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate annual business planning processes to produce EPA's annual business plan.
- Coordinate businress reviews of the annual business plan to ensure that resources are allocated to the highest priorities and recommend any necessary adjustments to planned deliverables for consideration by the Senior Executive Committee.
- Maintain EPA's business resilience policy and guidance and the coordination of business resilience planning and capability uplift activities.
- Support the uplift in business planning capability across the EPA, including by providing expert advice and training and producing templates and guidance to support a consistent approach to planning.
Skills and experience:
- A relevant tertiary degree and/or post graduate qualifications.
- Knowledge of organisational planning and performance frameworks.
- Knowledge of business continuity or business resilience frameworks desirable.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant guidance (e.g. legislation, regulations, reporting directives and procedures) to achieve optimal task outcomes.
- Proactively takes initiative, works independently, and maintains focus through complexity, contributing reliably to team and organisational goals.
- Proven ability to communicate with impact, including through the preparation of presentations, reports, advice and guidance.
