Located in Spring Hill on the fringe of the CBD, The United Service Club Queensland is a premier Queensland private members' club which has been upholding our tradition of the highest standards of cuisine and service since 1892.

Originally a social club for Queensland military officers, today we reflect our modern Queensland community and welcome members and guests of all ages, genders and backgrounds whilst continuing to value our heritage, traditions and defence community.

Our members and their guests enjoy a wide array of services including exclusive dining options, private functions and Club events, or simply a place to socialize.

The United Service Club of Queensland has a vacancy for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our small brigade in delivering modern fine dining, and “Gastro Pub” casual dining options and event catering cuisine to a membership knowledgeable and appreciative of quality.

Location: The Clubhouse is located at 183 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill

Hours: The Club operates Tuesday to Friday for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and Saturdays for an evening casual dining service. We offer flexibility in shifts and open to consider applicants preferred hours of employment (preferably full time but we will also consider Part Time or Casual).

The Role:

The position reports to the Executive Chef and working with a team of well established, competent professionals.

We suggest the ideal candidate will have developed their culinary skills via an apprenticeship in a quality operation with experience in all sections of the kitchen. Candidates with a flare in grill and pans will be highly regarded.

The position offers a competitive salary provides uniforms and free of charge onsite parking.
