What you’ll contribute to

One of our clients who operate in Machinery Manufacturing are seeking a Diesel Fitter to be based out of either Rockhampton, Gladstone or Mackay where you will be responsible for the provision of; safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacements across their customer base.

This is a 7 day on/ 7 day off Roster.

We are open to individuals from either Rockhampton, Gladstone or Mackay.

Rotating Day/Night shifts with Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) arrangements from the specified locations.

How you'll make an impact

· Inspect plant and equipment for conformity with established standards

· Request required spare parts

· Operate field workshop equipment including mobile lifting equipment

· Diagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components

· Diagnose and rectify minor electrical faults

· Repair damaged or faulty parts by machining & welding or fabricating new parts

· Lubricate plant and equipment

· Running adjustments to mechanical equipment

Required Skills

· Inspect Products and/or materials for conformity with established standards

· Maintain effective relationships with customers

· Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any customer/site specific documentation required

· Current High-Risk License (LF, DG, LO & EWP)

· Appropriate Certificate III across either Mobile Plant Technology/Engineering/ Electro Technology – essential

· Large Excavator/Haul Truck Experience- desirable

· Driver’s License (Manual Preferred)
