· Byron Lodge, Byron Bay

· Georges Cottages, Byron Bay

About the Role This role involves a mix of general cleaning and laundry duties across resident rooms, common areas, and staff areas. You’ll be working in environments that house elderly residents, so a respectful and compassionate approach is essential.

Shifts Available:

· Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

· Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 9:00am – 1:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

· General cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and staff facilities

· Safe operation of cleaning and laundry equipment

· Proper handling and use of cleaning products

· Adherence to infection control procedures

· Prompt reporting of maintenance or safety concerns

· Supporting a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

What We’re Looking For:

· Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)

· Willingness to work across facilities in Ballina and Byron Bay

· Good communication skills and a positive attitude

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Understanding of safe work practices and hygiene standards

What You’ll Need:

· Right to work in Australia

· Willingness to undergo a criminal history check (conducted by St Andrews)

· Physical fitness and attention to detail

· Sound English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
