About Us:

Bulk Recovery Solutions Pty Ltd (BRS) is a Licensed EPA waste recycling centre at Ingleburn and is one of the leading waste operations for the treatment of solid and liquid waste in NSW.

Due to growth, we are now looking to recruit a full-time and experienced Chemist based at Ingleburn with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake organic and inorganic analysis for liquid and solid waste samples

Analyse test results, recording data and preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies.

Ensuring accuracy and precision of laboratory results through quality control procedures and calibration of equipment.

Identifying and resolving issues related to laboratory procedures, equipment, or sample analysis.

Ensuring all laboratory activities adhere to relevant regulations and quality standards.

Undertake intermediate computer skills working with Microsoft office, Labware (LIMS) and other relevant software packages.

Knowledge of quality assurance requirements for analysis of water and wastewater products, including NATA ISO 17025 accreditation and ISO 9000 quality system requirements.

Work safely, undertake risk assessments and report hazards and incidents.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including chemical, biological, and microscopic analysis

Ability to analyse data, interpret results, and identify potential issues.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laboratory procedures and equipment.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to share findings and collaborate with others.

Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, as well as relevant regulations and quality standards.
