Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
Develop and lead the overarching marketing strategy to generate significant new enrolments to the school drive through strong awareness and positioning of Hartford’s vision and mission
Champion Hartford College’s distinct Liberal Arts and Catholic identity across all channels
Deliver integrated campaigns that promote key events such as Open Days, parent engagement evenings and scholarship opportunities
Creative Direction & Campaign Development
Generate fresh, bold ideas that align with business goals and resonate with our target market.
Oversee the end-to-end development of creative campaigns — across social, digital, print, video, and retail.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align marketing with the College’s strategic goals.
Digital, Social & Content Marketing
Own and optimise the brand’s digital presence — including Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, and YouTube.
Lead content creation across social platforms, email marketing, and the company website.
Build and execute social media strategies that grow engagement, drive conversions and reflect the College’s rich educational ethos.
Partnerships, Sponsorships & PR
Engage and develop strategic partnerships and key markets through church schools, parishes and related organisations
Represent Hartford at events and functions, ensuring consistent messaging, strong marketing presence and lead capture.
Grow sponsorship opportunities and brand collaborations.
Manage media relations, press releases, influencer engagement, and PR opportunities.
Website, SEO & CRM
Oversee website content, structure, and performance in collaboration with external developers.
Ensure SEO best practices and lead generation funnels are in place and continually optimised.
Manage customer segmentation and marketing automation for both lead nurturing and retention.
Data, Budget & Reporting
Own the marketing budget and allocate spend strategically across campaigns, tools, and contractors.
Analyse and report on campaign performance, ROI, and customer acquisition metrics.
Make data-informed decisions to continually optimise marketing impact.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to inform ongoing strategy.
Use insights to keep Hartford College ahead of the curve in messaging, positioning, and promotions.
Who You Are
A senior marketing professional with 5+ years of experience in brand, digital, or educational product marketing.
Proven experience leading campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
Strong copywriting and content strategy skills.
Highly organised with excellent project and stakeholder management capabilities.
Proficient in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, email marketing platforms (e.g. Hubspot /Mailchimp), Canva, and analytics tools.
Deeply aligned with the mission of education — ideally with experience in a faith-based or educational context.
