About the Company

Our client is a leading Australian retail organisation. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join the team and be committed to providing excellent end to end customer support and administrative assistance to their B2B wholesale customers.

About the Role

Alongside a team of 7, this role is focused on the smooth delivery of Wholesale product-sale support. Use an investigative mindset to find solutions for customers, whilst ensuring sales are entered into the system in a timely manner. This is NOT a call centre role, and is focused on providing exceptional service to customers via problem solving + administration.

Due to urgent demand, this is a role that offers an immediate start, with the potential to go permanent and progress in the business long term! This role is office based, working a 38 hour week.

Duties

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, some of your duties will include:

• Assist customers with enquiries end to end via email + phone & investigate to find solutions
• Database management; inputting orders, generating credit notes, filtering the inbox
• Generating reports to ensure actions are completed within agreed timelines
• Liaise with other departments to gather information for customers

Skills & Experience

To be a successful candidate you must have:

• Previous experience in Customer Service/Office Support/Administration - minimum 1-2 years
• Previous experience in Retail - on the floor or phones - highly desirable
• Intermediate Excel + ability to pick up new systems
• An eye for detail, initiative and the ability to problem solve
• Full working rights in Australia
