The Opportunity

Join a high-impact digital transformation initiative in the utilities sector, delivering tangible outcomes that improve operational efficiency and customer experience. Our client is seeking a capable and driven Program Coordinator to support the rollout of a major Digital Metering Program. This is an initial contract through to March 2026, with strong scope for extension.

You'll work within a collaborative and fast-paced team, gaining exposure to end-to-end project delivery across both technical and process-driven environments.

Brisbane CBD based role, must be able to come into the office at least 1 day per week.

The Role

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of two key workstreams within the Digital Metering Program.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating activities across technical and business teams to support program delivery and tracking
• Providing project support including documentation, governance reporting, scheduling, and administration
• Assisting with month-end financial reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking activities
• Supporting program leads with stakeholder engagement across both technical and non-technical audiences
• Managing dependencies and maintaining oversight of project milestones, risks, and deliverables
• Contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reporting frameworks within the program

About You

In order to be a successful applicant, you will have:

• Prior experience in a program or project coordination role, ideally in large-scale or utility-based programs OR a background in business analysis or junior project management with a desire to grow into broader delivery roles
• Strong understanding of governance, finance processes, and end-of-month reporting cycles
• High level of initiative and confidence working with minimal supervision in dynamic environments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders
• Experience supporting systems implementation, digital transformation, or change programs
