Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager and working collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and Marketing, Acquisition Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator and Fundraising Data & Analytics Lead, the Retention Coordinator plays a key role in deepening relationships with existing donors and enhancing donor loyalty across cash and regular giving programs.

This role is responsible for managing donor retention campaigns and supporter communications from inception to delivery. This includes direct mail appeals, donor newsletters, surveys, milestone recognition, bequest stewardship, and the implementation of automated donor journeys and retention flows. The Retention Coordinator will also support cross-channel engagement including digital, mail, and EDMs to ensure consistent and meaningful touchpoints that drive long-term donor value.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE

  • Min 2 years' experience in a role with appeals coordination and digital responsibilities
  • Strong campaign or project management skills including the development of new innovative retention campaigns
  • Experience using a fundraising database – Salesforce preferred, or similar
  • Experience in digital and mail-based campaigns using email marketing software.
  • Experience coordinating Direct Mail campaigns from concept development to outcomes reporting.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, and strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A professional and mature persona
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously
  • Eagerness to learn and develop
  • Intermediate user of MS Office
