About the role

We are seeking an experienced Waterproofer to join our family run waterproofing business in Sydney, NSW. As a Waterproofer, you will be responsible for applying waterproofing membranes to a variety of commercial and residential construction projects. This is a full-time role with excellent opportunities for growth and development within our fast-paced and dynamic company.

What you'll be doing

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, priming and repairing any necessary areas

Apply high-quality waterproofing membranes, coatings and other materials to basements, roofs, balconies, planter boxes, bathrooms and other wet areas

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with Australian standards and safety protocols

Communicate with site managers and other tradespeople to coordinate the waterproofing schedule

Participate in ongoing training

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Waterproofer

Experience in applying sheet membranes, along with liquid membranes

Someone who is capable of working solo at times, and also enjoys working in a team environment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Strong knowledge of waterproofing materials, methods and industry standards

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Physically fit and able to work at heights and in other challenging environments

Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Current White Card is required

Current Australian driver's licence essential
