Our teams deliver well known and trusted programs across Western Australia to help body and mind across the lifespan including Street Doctor, ALIVE, headspace, NDIS Support Coordination and Therapy, Commonwealth Home Support Program and a variety of other allied health and support services.
360 Health + Community is proudly partnering with Ruah Community Services to deliver primary health care within the Karlup Service, a wholistic, wraparound service model for women and children to heal and recovery from family and domestic violence in the Ruah Centre for Women and Children (RCWC), as state-of- the-art, purpose-built facility in the Perth CBD. This part time position (45 hours per fortnight) has a mental health care focus and provides an enhanced service to our established multi-disciplinary primary health care and support team.
It is a genuine occupational qualification of this position to be female in accordance with section 27 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
Your skills and attributes:
- Current AHPRA registration and endorsement to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Hold or be working towards a specialist mental health nursing qualification at a Post Graduate Certificate level as recognised by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN).
- Relevant clinical skills, including competence to conduct consultations autonomously and perform minor ambulatory procedures
- Demonstrated experience working with patients in alcohol and other drug use disorders and mental health
- Capability to work within a trauma and culturally informed model of service delivery
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including a positive bedside manner and client centred approach and ability to effectively liaise with other care and support providers
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate dated within 6 months, or willingness to obtain
The salary for this position is $75.00 per hour ($148,200 per annum full time equivalent). Additional benefits include:
