Position: Fruit Fly Controller
Location: Barmera, SA 5345
Job Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $35 - $36 per hour

Are you passionate about working outdoors and ready to make a real impact? We're urgently seeking energetic, hands-on individuals to join our team as Fruit Fly Controllers. Help defend South Australia's iconic produce by tackling fruit fly outbreaks directly in the field.

What You'll Do:

Inspect properties and produce for fruit fly activity

Set traps, collect samples, and support lab submissions

Apply treatments and pest control measures

Maintain accurate inspection records and reports

Work closely with the local community to promote best practices

Respond to outbreaks and support ongoing pest management programs

What You'll Need:

Experience in outdoor/manual work (e.g., fruit picking)

Valid full driver's licence (4WD and trailer towing experience a plus)

Current National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months)

Unrestricted Australian work rights

Can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Availability to attend a paid 3-hour induction

Interest in ongoing, long-term opportunities
