About the role:

We are seeking an experienced HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver to join our team at Cartright Stone Deliveries. Casual employment, covering leave for 4-6 weeks 40 hours per week, then estimated ongoing 20 hours per week.

What you'll be doing:

Safely operating a tray truck to transport Stone Slabs around the Gold Coast and Brisbane from Supplier to Stonemason

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety

Adhering to all road rules, traffic regulations and company policies to ensure safe driving practices

Providing exceptional customer service and timely delivery of goods

Maintaining accurate records of jobs, deliveries and vehicle usage using an online app 'Servicem8'

Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vehicle as required

What we're looking for:

Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence

Minimum 2 years' experience operating tray trucks or similar commercial vehicles

Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to on-time delivery

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

Experience in loading and unloading stone slabs would be beneficial
