About the job
The Graphic Designer will support the development of high-quality visual content that helps bring Orygen’s brand and mission to life, with a strong focus on digital-first communication. This role will contribute to a wide range of projects designed to engage and inform young people, families, health professionals and other key audiences.
Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer you will:
- Lead creative strategy and design execution across digital and print, delivering innovative, visually impactful assets that enhance Orygen’s brand presence.
- Create engaging content for social media, websites, campaigns, reports, and infographics while maintaining and evolving a consistent visual identity.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines and strategic goals.
- Provide expert advice on design trends and production techniques, contributing to the continuous improvement of creative outputs across Orygen’s brands.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, translating complex ideas into compelling visuals and proactively engaging staff to deliver high-quality creative solutions.
Skills and experience
The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- Experienced graphic designer with a strong portfolio across digital and print, including branding, reports, social media, and marketing collateral.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and ideally After Effects; Canva and motion graphics a bonus and proficiency with Microsoft suite products.
- Strong digital design capabilities, including large document layout, social content, web graphics, and knowledge of accessibility standards.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, able to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Creative, detail-oriented and collaborative, with a passion for great design, critical thinking, and presenting ideas with impact.
