We're on the lookout for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our dynamic and supportive client based in Blacktown. You will be working with a diverse fleet including garbage trucks, plant machinery, and light vehicles, with a focus on minor servicing and maintenance. This is a casual position with a strong pathway to permanent employment for the right candidates who demonstrate reliability, skill, and a great attitude.

Your new role

• Conduct routine servicing and minor repairs on heavy diesel vehicles and plant equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic troubleshooting
• Maintain service records and communicate effectively with the supervisor
• Occasionally assist with light vehicle servicing
• Follow all safety protocols and workshop procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Diesel Heavy Vehicle) - Essential
  
• Hands-on experience with heavy diesel vehicles and plant machinery
  
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team
  
• Reliable, punctual, and safety focussed
