About the Role
As we prepare to open the doors to our newest showroom in Armadale, we’re seeking a confident and experienced Showroom Manager to lead this exciting new chapter for TMC Fine Jewellers in Melbourne.
This full-time, client-facing leadership role is pivotal to delivering our signature, deeply personal experience while upholding the highest standards in showroom operations, team development, and retail performance. You’ll play a hands-on role in launching and shaping the Melbourne showroom, guiding clients through their most meaningful purchases and representing the TMC Fine Jewellers brand in one of Australia’s most iconic retail precincts.
This role is based in-store and will follow a Tuesday–Saturday roster.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Armadale showroom, ensuring a seamless, luxury experience
Manage showroom inventory, consultation bookings, visual merchandising, and presentation
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and KPIs
Provide personalised, relationship-based service to all customers, including VIPs
Coordinate in-store events and special client activations
Maintain showroom budgets and uphold cost control measures
Report on showroom performance and trends, providing actionable insights to internal teams
Collaborate closely with production, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure end-to-end client satisfaction
Participate in national retail strategy, including pop-ups and team training across locations
Represent the TMC brand with professionalism, poise, and genuine care
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail or showroom leadership role (luxury or bridal preferred)
Proven success in achieving sales targets and leading team performance
Strong visual merchandising skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
High level of organisation, initiative, and calm under pressure
A positive, growth-oriented mindset and willingness to be held accountable
Knowledge of jewellery, gemstones, or custom-made fine goods is an advantage
