Qualifications & experience
AHPRA registration in rehab counselling, OT, psychology, physio or ESSA registered and accredited EP
Preferred 3+ years experience in occupational rehabilitation. Essential 12+ months experience.
Drivers' license and own car
Essential - strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Tasks & responsibilities
Worksite assessments involing driving to workplaces throughout South East Queensland and occassional (1 day/month) plane travel throughout regional Queensland
Suitable duties plans
Initial needs assessment
Case management and support of injured and ill workers in their recovery and return to work
Functional capacity evaluations (depending on discipline)
Ergonomic assessments (depending on discipline)
Provide opinion and formal written reports on treatment, progress and work capacity
Liaise with doctors, treatment providers, employers and insurers
Injury prevention initiatives eg. IRRI projects, manual task risk management, health promotion training, ergonomic consulting (depending on discipline)
Development and delivery of bespoke training eg. RRTW training for industry, health promotion
