The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and visionary Web Developer to lead our talented web team. This is a pivotal role for an individual who is not only a seasoned web professional but also a strong leader capable of mentoring, inspiring, and growing a high-performing team. You will be instrumental in shaping our web development strategy, ensuring the delivery of outstanding projects from concept to launch, and maintaining our position at the forefront of digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Designs, develops and maintains websites using various programming languages.

Collaborates with other ICT Professionals to plan and produce websites that meet user needs and requirements.

Builds responsive and accessible websites that comply with web accessibility guidelines.

Uses content management systems to manage website content and data.

Ensures websites are optimised for performance, security and compatibility with different devices and browsers.

Develops and tests code to ensure that it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with different platforms and operating systems.

Creates and manages databases to support the functionality of web applications and websites.

Designs and develops web applications such as online forms and e-commerce platforms, that provide value to users.

Creates and updates website content such as text, images and multimedia.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of experience leading and managing a web dev team.

Proven, expert-level proficiency with Webflow, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of complex projects.

Experience with overseeing development of ecommerce solutions

Strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and responsive design principles.

Familiarity with SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

A portfolio showcasing successful web development projects, particularly those built with Webflow and Shopify, is highly desirable.
