About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic team at Rathmines Hair Design in Rathmines, NSW. As a Hairdresser, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our diverse clientele, contributing to the salon's success and reputation. This is a full-time position, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

What you'll be doing

Cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing hair to the highest standards

Providing personalised consultations to understand client needs and deliver tailored hair solutions

Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and recommending the appropriate products for each client's hair type and desired look

Ensuring the work area is clean, well-organised, and adheres to health and safety standards

Actively participating in team meetings and training sessions to continuously develop your skills and knowledge

Contributing to the positive and friendly atmosphere in the salon

What we're looking for

A formal hairdressing qualification and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Exceptional haircutting, colouring, and styling skills, with a keen eye for detail

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure efficient service delivery

A passion for the latest hair trends and techniques, and a commitment to continuous learning

A team-player mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Certificate III in Hairdressing (essential)

Proven expertise in advanced colouring techniques including balayage, highlights, lowlights, and colour correction

Current working rights in Australia (mandatory)
