Custom Compounding Chemist is a boutique, non‑PBS compounding pharmacy based in West Lakes, Adelaide. We prepare non-sterile, bespoke medications—including capsules, creams, suspensions and troches—for patients and veterinarians across South Australia. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to precision, safety, and patient-centred, individualized care.

Your Role & Impact

Join our growing team to support tailored medicines production:

Support pharmacists in preparing customised formulations—capsules, creams, solutions, troches, etc.—to meet individual patient or veterinary needs.

Assist with weighing, measuring, packaging and labelling compounds in line with quality, safety, and beyond-use-date protocols.

Triage workflow tasks and maintain clean, compliant lab areas.

Help ensure equipment validation, stock checks, and documentation are reliably completed each shift.

Be proactive: propose improvements, solve small issues autonomously, and contribute to teamwork culture.

What We’re Looking For

Compounding experience is a essential but not mandatory — further training will be provided if needed.

A self-directed learner who brings solutions, not just problems.

Strong team player who communicates clearly with pharmacists, vet clients (if needed), and internal staff.

Flexibility to work at our West Lakes compounding lab and/or Adelaide CBD branch depending on team needs and your availability.
