We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused individual to join our team as a Quoting & Customer Service Representative. You’ll play a key role in supporting builders, contractors, and trade customers with accurate, timely quotes and follow-ups, ensuring a high standard of customer service from first contact to final order.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for timber and building products
Proactively follow up on outstanding quotes and convert them to orders
Provide clear, timely communication to customers via phone, email, and in person
Maintain and update customer records in our systems
Collaborate with the sales and operations team to meet customer needs
What You’ll Need:
Solid knowledge of timber products, building materials, and construction terminology
Strong computer skills, with experience in quoting systems, CRMs, and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A proactive approach to customer service and quote follow-ups
Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Experience in a timber yard, building supply company, or similar trade environment
Familiarity with estimating software or quoting tools
